Hello, my name is Rosemary. I discovered reborn Berenguers when I began to look on eBay for newborn baby dolls to collect. Not only did I find dolls, but I discovered a whole world of dolls that amazed me. They were the most realistic looking baby dolls I had ever seen.

After purchasing some reborns I decided to try to make my own. When I was finished with my first reborn baby I was amazed on how beautiful she turned out. I spent many weeks on my first baby who I named Maria. I was hooked. I was so in love with the process that made her seem so real that I had to make another. So began my life as a Reborn Artist. I have been reborning for seven years now and it has become my love and passion.

Having adopted five children and being a mom, I do know how quickly that precious time of being a baby goes by too quickly, that sweet pure innocence. Creating these babies seems to stop time so that we can enjoy holding a little baby again. They are such a comfort and joy to hold.

Each baby I create develops a unique appearance and personality. My goal is to create a doll that will be cherished for years to come. No baby is ever alike because each one has unique characteristics that set it apart from the rest. Each baby comes with a custom made body. I use Genesis Heat Set Paints and layer the paint in different colors and blush each doll until a beautiful, life-like glow is achieved. My dolls have either fine English Mohair wigs or I also root their hair with Angora Kid goat mohair. The factory eyes are removed and either glass eyes or Masterpiece eyes are replaced on the babies. Each doll is made with love and is difficult to part with. I've found such joy in making the dolls because it enables me to use my artistic skills, which I discovered later in life. I strive to create keepsakes that mommies will treasure forever even after their own breathtaking babies have left the nest. I have always loved dolls and then babies. I adopted five children from different countries and now have been blessed with nine beautiful grandchildren.
